Connect the ribbon cable of the new overlay and/or keypad to the display electronics and test the part prior to removing the paper backing and complete installation. If you have the same problem as with the original part, please continue troubleshooting the unit to ensure the problem is the overlay / keypad.

I was so happy to find Fitness Repair Parts. I bought a gym quality Stairmaster for my home about 22 years ago. I never once had any problem with the equipment except after all these years the plug that connects to the connector box (not sure what that thing is called) and the "box" needed to be replaced.
